New Survey Shows Improved Levels of Customer Satisfaction
The second national survey undertaken by the Home Builders Federation in partnership with NHBC shows a steady improvement in levels of customer satisfaction.
The results, from 20 of the larger home building companies for the 12 months between October 2005 and September 2006 show that:
76% of purchasers are satisfied with the overall quality of their home
77% would recommend their builder to a friend
78% were satisfied with the service provided during the buying process
70% regarded the standard of finish as good
65% were satisfied with the service after moving in.
The national survey is a key part of the HBF's customer satisfaction strategy. As part of this strategy, the HBF has also developed a Customer Service Code of Conduct and model contract terms to meet higher customer satisfaction standards.
